AKASHA — CARE & FLOW GUIDANCE

Guidance for setting up, maintaining, and living with Akasha — a large-scale architectural bamboo flow object designed around vertical movement, ambient glow, and spatial presence.

Setting the Flow

Akasha is designed as a vertical atmospheric flow structure where water, height, light, and shadow work together to shape the surrounding space.

Placement

Place Akasha on a stable level surface with sufficient vertical clearance and surrounding breathing space.

Soft ambient lighting allows the warm glow and vertical flow to settle more naturally into the atmosphere of the room.

Water Guidance

Use clean, filtered, or RO water to preserve clarity of sound and reduce mineral build-up. Ensure the pump remains fully submerged at all times. Replace water every 10–14 days to
keep the flow fresh and effortless.

Everyday Care

  • Refresh water periodically to maintain smooth circulation.
  • Clean bamboo surfaces gently using a soft dry cloth.K
  • Keep the pump fully submerged during operation.
  • Remove dust carefully from lighting and flow areas.
  • Avoid stagnant water during long inactive periods.

Natural Material

Natural bamboo develops deeper tonal variation and texture over time as part of its organic aging process. Small variations in grain, tone, and finish are a natural part of handcrafted bamboo work and make each piece unique.
